How Much Do I Have to Invest to Own a Franchise?

Our entry strategy is based on the type of market in a particular location, level of competition, and capacity of franchisee. Based on the entry strategy, our franchise package may be one of the following:

1.) For a Kiosk franchise, the investment requirement ranges between 450,000 pesos to 550,000 pesos, depending on the location. Franchise fee is already included in the franchise package.

2.) For a medium size franchise outside malls, the investment requirement ranges between 650k pesos to 700k pesos, depending on the location. Franchise fee is already included in the franchise package.

3.) For a medium size franchise inside malls, the investment requirement ranges between 800k pesos up to 1 million pesos, depending on the location. Franchise fee is already included in the franchise package.

4.) For a large size franchise inside malls like SM and Robinsons, the investment requirement ranges between 1.3 million pesos up to 1.5 million pesos, depending on the location. Franchise fee is already included in the franchise package.

Included in the required investment are:

  1. Architectural design
  2. Security deposit
  3. Advance rental
  4. Construction or renovation
  5. Training allowances of initial store team
  6. Initial Inventory (almost half of the investment package is allocated to inventory)
  7. Equipment and repair tools
  8. Computer, bar code reader, and printer
  9. Cash register
  10. Launching expenses
  11. Initial marketing materials
  12. Uniforms
  13. Contingency Fund
  14. Franchise Fee

Where other equipment is available, so long as they meet the required specification, they can be used to save cash capital for more inventory funds.

How Do I Start the Process?

1st step – Franchise Applicant

  • Sends letter of intent signifying interest to operate a Cellular City franchise with vicinity map of the proposed site, updated resume, and accomplished Franchise Application form. 
  • Fax or sends the documents to:

2nd Step – Cellular City franchise team

  • Cellular City admission committee reviews franchise application.
  • Meets with franchise applicant for preliminary interview.
  • Provide applicant with Franchise Qualification Form.
  • If favorable, provide franchise applicant with Market Study Guide.  

3rd Step – Franchise Applicant

  • Conducts rigid site and market study
  • Submits market study to Cellular City.
  • Identifies a location and start negotiating for a possible Cellular City store space.

4th Step – Cellular City franchise team

  • Reviews market study submitted by franchise applicant
  • Meets with franchise applicant to discuss result of market study, MOA signing, and payment of security deposit.
  • Contacts site owner and provide leasing requirements.
  • Provide draft of Franchise Agreement for review by applicant (1 week)
  • Meets with franchise applicant for franchise agreement signing and payment of franchise fee. Discuss the execution procedures.
  • Close lease agreements.
